My world has gone. Vanished. Taken, perhaps, though all deny the crime. All deny the truth. That is what my voice tells me.
I travel from planet to planet, trying to find some parallel, some precedent for what has occurred. Everywhere I go, the same: a fear of Sentinels, of pirates, perhaps even of Vykeen, but of worlds disappearing? Of the universe changing? No. No-one fears that. Why should they?
My voice assures me I am right, and that all others are wrong. It is a comfort to me.
