Strange symbols pulse urgently on the terminal display. The flashing lights and loud siren appear to relate to the facility's nuclear power core. A message prints out on the display.
Fusion critical! Initiate emergency radiation dampening measures!
The automated safety systems have failed. Something must have been damaged as I entered the facility.
Dialogue choices
Initiate shutdown
Activating the emergency shudown procedure calms the wail of the sirens. Lights on the terminal flicker and die, and the facility's machinery has fallen silent, but at least nothing has exploded.
Panic
While I panic, the facility's fusion core overwhelms its dampening system and goes into meltdown. A backup system prevents the total destruction of the facility, but the terminal is critically damaged.
