Seasonal Commentary

No Man's Sky is a game about exploration and combat may not be the main focus, but Sentinels patrol almost every planet. We wanted to make fighting them feel more tactical and interesting. The Sentinel update added different varieties of Sentinel drones - repair drones, heavies, and summoners. We improved the feel of ground combat across the board with lots of new abilities and tech. We even created a new story-based mission for players to construct their own drone companion, and upgrade their Exo-Mech! This was supposed to be a smaller update but in the end the patch notes amounted to more than 250 items!
